Our Community

A Peer Community for Structured Literacy Educators
The Spirit of the Community

This community is rooted in peer-to-peer connection.

Together, we:

  • Engage in thoughtful conversation about structured literacy practice

  • Reflect on research and how it shows up in real teaching contexts

  • Share perspectives and experiences from our work

  • Learn alongside others who understand the nuances of literacy instruction

Rather than focusing on individual answers, the emphasis is on collective thinking and professional reflection.

Our monthly meetings are grounded and welcoming

Some sessions are lightly facilitated; others are more open in format.

What remains consistent is a shared respect for professional experience and a belief that learning happens best in conversation with peers.

Structured literacy work is often done in isolation. Many educators and practitioners are thinking deeply about instruction, research, and student needs without regular opportunities to engage with colleagues who share the same professional language and values.

Our community exists to offer a place where practitioners can come together as peers to think, reflect, and stay connected to the work.

At Structured Literacy Innovations, we host a FREE monthly community gathering for structured literacy educators and practitioners who value professional dialogue, shared learning, and ongoing growth.

This is a space for educators to engage with one another, grounded in curiosity, respect, and a shared commitment to evidence-informed practice.
